Hi, fellow crafters!

Here's a new beginner sewing how-to, an easy applique with fusible web. This way, you can embellish and personalize just anything you sew. See how to make your own appliques, how to apply fusible web to fabric, and how to sew them using a regular sewing machine. Too easy to not try it out!

I used a piece of Ikea upholstery-weight fabric in this little how-too. While I do not love each and every piece Ikea fabric, this one is great. I often use it for my first or second prototype, aka before I even start making a tutorial. So it usually stays behind the scenes and doesn't make it onto my blog. Seemed like unfair to me, so I let it shine this time :)

P.S. Lately, I have been wondering about what's your absolute FAVORITE place in the internet you go for sewing and crafting ideas. Do you have one? Let me know which one it is, and if you want to, even WHAT you LOVE about it!
(Just hit 'REPLY' to this email, or reply on Facebook. It would really help me out, thanks!)

Happy sewing!

Damjana
